I can't tell if it's a shoulder tackle or an elbow drop he's using. I'm gonna count it as an elbow drop, because it makes him objectively the best new monster in any hunting RPG. Leohomin, my boy, you finally have an equal in dishing out the elbow. Also that pin is absolutely sick. Helps show more about how pins work here too since it seems every monster with a pin will let you shank your grabber with your knife as a last resort (or give them a slinger shot) and presumably it's done away with the hard knockdowns or other vulnerable states pins inflicted in gen 5.

​@@damiennroddyWouldn't recommend starting with World now, Wilds will release next month and starting now with any other MH will just distrect from MH Wilds. Especially since experianceing a MH from day one with all the TUs still having to come is something you don't want to miss. Also Wilds already seems like a better start into the series than World from Gamplay, Graphics, Monster Variety, etc World has graphics but thats about it the roster is community wide seen as the worst, many monster types, Leviathans, Temnocerans, Carapaceons, Snake Wyverns and are completely missing and without the DLC it also lacks Pseudo Wyverns and Fanged Beast, it has some of the worst mechanics in the series like the Clutch Claw, it dosn't really have unique weapon designs for each Monster like the other MHs do and insted has boring slap on designs and the Roster of World isn't really big to begin with with especially the base game being rather small for an MH.

That health bar is actually such a cool idea. The peaks get more pronounced when your health is lower and the waves become faster, so it's easier to see in your peripherals. Idk if thats what they were going for, but it's cool anyways.
