Actually, after the last episode, I think she is the only character completely new to shield, and her eventual growth is going to be into an agent. I'm hoping that the Ward/Skye dynamic becomes more big brother/little sister, because she doesn't even sound like she WANTS a relationship. She sounds like she would rather have family.

I don't understand the hate for a show that's 3 eps. In. Name a tv show that's been at its best 3 eps in, heck name a show that's been really good 3 eps in. Breaking Bad didnt find it's feet til the second season.

I dont like Agents of shield so far but you have no idea how things will turn out. Hell, they already got there Buffy esque cast all lined up for the romantic subplots. Also, face it, A demon or vampire with supernatural powers is not far removed from a super villain with supernatural powers. This show is way more similar to Buffy than you're caring to admit. I think the only big difference is that the protagonists are working with a near unlimited amount of money and resources.

watched the premiere, it sucked. had hope, watched the second episode, then gave up. We are so used to seeing marvel in the big budget that this just feels lackluster. Not to mention i hate the characters and the shit dialogue.

i think skye was forced into the show just to have a romantic story, she is annoying and not a good actor in my opinion

Elizabeth Henstridge is one of my biggest problems with the show. I just don't think she's a very good actress. She plays the part like the character has problems where everything is amazing and she can't stop smiling, it's weird and it's just not a convincing performance.
