Dax Corsiar It took BF4 A YEAR to add a party system. That is ridiculous for an FPS! Also, the vehicle controls are terrible, but I guess I'm just asking too much from an FPS. Seriously though, if DICE wants to put such a big emphasis on vehicular combat, they got a long way to go. I'm not saying Ghosts is better though. I barely played it online, so I can't say anything. At least the story's decent (but not worth paying $60 for).

Lord, while mario may have done that a couple times, they introduced 3D world. Which wad a fresh, new, innovative game. Kirby, however, feels similar yes but they are by no means the same game. Each game adds new features, mechanics, puzzles, and gimmicks. CoD on the other hand does not. It has the same mechanics, maybe a few new guns, enhanced graphics, same multiplayer with new maps, and BAM! New CoD. And Metroid and it's sequels were amazing. Same with Pikmin, yes it had the same Idea, but did bring new mechanics, Pikmin, etc. to the game. And so I would disagree HIGHLY that every Nintendo game is the same. And when you say "it's the same stuff in every Nintendo game" that's like saying that every game's sequels has the same stuff. Well quess what? Every games sequel, is a sequel, because it's the same game as the last but improved on highly! Tell me one game that's sequel wasn't anything like the last game, but STILL feels like a sequel and not a separate game. And I'd like to point out that CoD doesn't improve in its sequel at all. It is LITERALLY THE SAME GAME WITH A NEW GAME MODE! That's why it sucks, and Kirby doesn't.

The multiplayer doesn't innovate anything and the best parts of customization; YOU HAVE TO BUY?? What?! So you can unlock shitty stuff and you have to BUY the good stuff. What happened to good old; "I really want to unlock that; so I'll invest my time in doing the challenges" Etc. Extinction is the only part of the game that actually enticed me to play and yet; it's simply a new look on the already amazing work of BO: Zombies that was perfect in 2010 and created in WAW in 2008!!!! FFS!!... This game is the definition of mediocre - The only big production value in it is that it runs smoothly. Pretty obvious seeing as the game isn't ambitious at all.

This comment that I'm about to post has a better accurate review than IGN's: Campaign: Gameplay wise, it's just another generic shooting gallery with a some gimmicks and set pieces thrown together here and there. I will say though that the story is well written and will have you entertained throughout. Multiplayer: This is basically MW3 but with a few new guns, a shinier coat of paint, and more options in customization. It's basically the same as CoD4 in the gameplay department, but for a game that was made within 18 months, thats something you have to expect. By now you're either a fan of CoD or not, Ghosts won't change your opinion. Extinction: I personally hate this mode. Not that its hard or anything, but its the fact that there are aliens in CoD. It's basically your average survival mode where you fight never ending waves of aliens that look like a mix of the ones from half life, and the Xenomorphs. Other notes: In terms of graphics, they look alot better than BO2, but they're below next gen.(I mean for crying out loud, Crysis 1 and Halo 3 looked better than this and those games came out in 2007.) Sound and music is very good. Final verdict: While Ghosts isn't the worst game in the series, (I think that title goes to MW3) People who bought this game that are disappointed have every right to be so. If your looking for some mindless fun, go ahead and get ghosts, otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere. Score: 7/10

Got Ghosts on the Xbox 360. Was shit. Got it on the Xbox One. Was an absolute mess. IGN, on behalf of the ENTIRE FUCKING INTERNET, sort out your reviews and don't get paid by people to do "ahjes dis gud game wit broken fps and dynamic maps from battlefield srs". Please, for the love of god. Oh, and dynamic maps in CoD? Sorry, but Battlefield beat you there. Fish AI? Mario 64 did that before you. This is better than Battlefield 4? Put down your bongs. Please. Battlefield 4's campaign was - admittedly - a little bland but the multi-player is SOOOOOO worth it. CoD Ghosts is like E.T. The Extra Terrestrial for the Atari. Why? Because people hate it for no reason. Or how about you stop rushing like an idiot and use Corners and the leanig feature to kill enemies? Another argument I like hearing is the "You die too fast" one. So? It is a two way street, you get killed fast you kill them fast. Another Argument that I hear are the "maps are too big argument". Any "big map" can become a small map if you take the time to memorize the map. Learn where people camp and maybe you can stop dying to M27 campers. If you guys would've gave this game another chance and played it a bit longer, maybe this game wouldn't have been "bad".

Cod is known for it's fast-phased, guns blazing-type gameplay which rewards gun skill. Having almost all of the people camp due to the large maps makes the game slow phased, and rewards a defensive playstyle, something most people wouldn't expect when buying a cod game.

shottybeatssword your clearly high. Anyway, first of all, the story. BO2, MW3 (sorta), BO1 and all the other CODS before ghosts all had pretty decent storylines. This however is a slow, boring, predictable piece of shit campaign. It gotta be the least thought out campaign from not just cod but any game ever! But hey, it has cool explosions! Now the multiplayer. Jesus, you'd think it couldn't get any worse. Well it did. It's a multiplayer full of racist 9 year olds who need to shut up. And the maps are too big for the games own good! he is my review of cod ghosts in a nutshell, boring, lengthy campaign with barely any character development, no create a loadout like in bo2, no player decisions that affects the ending, a bullshit ending and the story is filled with plot holes. Multiplayer, while fun at times, is mostly boring, and slow paced because of the oversized maps. They did not include not one gamemode from bo2, and they ruined infected. Did i mention it takes a long time to earn squad points. And extintion, while it is fun, but once you finish the map, it has no replay value what so ever. Once you complete it and play through it again you basically doing the same thing, reaching the same goal. BTW, i didnt make a comment on squads because i did not play it that much. Oh AND NO SPEC OPS MODE. My score 4/10 (Don't think that i am a hater, I thought MW3 was good and i loved bo2, but ghosts is a step backwards, if you are thinking about buying ghosts, take my opinion and stick with bo2).

Because COD has been doing it longer than any of those games. Activision also loves to piss us off, by hyping COD to be innovative when it's not and charging $15 for only 5 maps. But I think the #1 reason why we focus our attention to COD is because everybody buys them without question, and almost nobody pays as much attention to other franchises which in turn causes really great franchises to fade into obscurity while COD sells millions by doing absolutely nothing.

Another positive thing about this game is this game got the most patches out of any cod game ever all the patches to fix issues the MSBS nerf the pc crash and lag bugs fixed etc so many patches its just awesome killstreaks are not that great im not going to lie however with the new riley dog and the new maniac and juggernaut at least we have new killstreaks, weapons and perks unlike mw3 had same weapons and killstreaks from mw2. Now the maps are more dynamic and I know some maps are too big but in all the dlc's there are giving us small to medium maps to satisfy our complaints so we have big, medium and small maps. the new ripper is also a good creative weapon which was in the devastation dlc and it shows us that not all the guns in this game are boring and cheap no the guns are fresh new and good. extinction- extinction is so much fun and has so much innovation and is the strong point of ghosts it requires teamwork and is a lot of fun to play with bosses variety of hostiles and the venom x infact extinction has a lot of improvement from map to map first from point of contact with 4 hostiles hunters, scorpions, seekers and rhino's in the next map with have the new hostile that can teleport a boss called the breeder and the new venom x that's improvement then in the next map the new hostiles are seeders flower turrets and the kraken boss with 4 venom x's and the hypno knife can hypnotize rhinos now and the teeth for killstreaks and all that's improvement again I've not got much to say about squads but I know it has a lot of content so overall awesome campaign awesome multiplayer awesome extinction good squads although I miss spec ops but anyways cod ghosts does not suck and is a awesome game infinity ward did a good job and that's true cod ghosts is a great game

What I think: Up until the ending, the campaign was fine. The ending was shit. as if infinity ward was gonna make a sequel I expected better from the dynamic maps. The only good map was Strikezone. (I do not have the DLC) Customization was pretty neat though. Squads was also neat too. I haven't touched extinction. (yet)

Most underrated cod by far, it sure did have its issues and was not up there with the greats (Mw1, Mw2, Black ops) but it was certainly better than mw3 and black ops 2 in all aspects (except extinction against zombies). This really is beyond a joke now. This is by far the worst Call of Duty made and this is coming from someone who enjoyed previous COD's. They have added absolutely nothing new gameplay wise, just levels full of people to shoot and generic weaponry. I think it's mainly because BF4 was launched buggy af, and in my opinion completely unacceptable for a game. Though I know this is EA's fault rather than DICE's because EA wanted to push BF4 out the window too fast, and I give credit to DICE for stopping production on other games, and focusing the fix the bugs presented in BF4. Also, this reviewer over glorified Ghosts as anyone can expect. Honestly, I don't find IGN to be a reliable source for reviews, especially an 8.8 for this game? Either IGN has really low standards or they have "outside" influences. All in all, let Angry Joe do a true review on the game.

TheVeryWhiteGuy Thanks for the nice long response. I agree completely with everything you say here. As far as Battlefield 4 goes, yes, EA sold a broken game. Now this is nothing at all against Dice because I know they wanted to push it back but EA had to get it out for the release of next gen consoles just to make more money, as a result they sold a broken game, got some pissed off fans and oh someone even sued them over it. Now BF4 could have been an incredible game however I myself had had a lot of freezing and one thing that really pisses me off and that has happened about three times now is when my game freezes and I restart it and get the corrupted data message which means I lost all my campaign progress. (Even though the campaign itself isn't the best) I don't want to play the damn campaign three times just to complete it! Anyways when BF4 works its great and when DICE fixes it I will be one happy camper. As far as Call of Duty Ghosts it seems that Activision can slap the Call of Duty name on any old game and people will buy it. They don't focus on Better gameplay mechanics and taking a risk for once. We all want something new, So give it to us! Anyways Call of Duty seems to have not been so great since Black Ops, three years ago. MW3 was god awful with final stand and dead mans hand and all those BS things as well as the same damn repetitive gameplay! BO2 was ok, I only played it for the Zombies but that's all I can say about that. So I can only stress enough, Fix BF4 and make a new game Treyarch! Truly use the power of PC and Next Gen!

I don't get you guys and trust me i ain't trolling. I actually like this game, at least its better than AW. There's nothing wrong with the multiplayer, im on ps4 and the only flaw is that the framerate drops here and there, and i think it was my 7th match when the game froze. Other than that i love the multiplayer, extinction blew me away cause i wasnt expecting how hard it was, its not even a zombies rip off, if you play it then you'll understand that. Plus, i got it for $20 yesterday and i actually cant wait to try out the campaign. I have a feeling its gonna be bad but i have to try it.

Reece mac No, CoD is not a sport, it sells itself as a shooter. And even if it was a sport, lack of change is not something that should be tolerated from anything. If it's the same as the previous game, why even release it? And if the differences are so small why not make it a DLC and charge less for it? And excuse me but what, "high standards" of gaming? Bottom line if you want a different experience go and buy a different game. Also have you seriously just said Call of Duty has a lack of content it is one of the most packed games in terms of content there is always a new experience to play the basic content for example in ghosts you can do the storymode , extinction mode , a fully developed multiplayer mode with a lot of different modes including chaos mode and also squad mode there is also a clan mode in which you can form a clan and vs other clans so to say it lacks content is just plain stupid. You sir are letting your blind rage at a game I doubt you own or have ever owned cloud your judgement and logical thinking.
