Something that is starting to really show is just how much planning and research you are doing for this car. This isn't your average project car that you slap a Holley terminator onto. You're legit planning and routing all the wires to work between multiple different advanced electronic systems, and that's something that's extremely easy to overlook as a viewer unless you actually talk about it. I like the behind the scenes in depth videos like this.

Rob, your techniques have improved immeasurably since I first watched your videos a few years ago. However when you build race cars, as I am sure you know, you are always learning. I feel you might gain something from reading at least two of Carroll Smith's excellent books: Engineer to Win and Prepare to Win. One thing I always remember from them, is to avoid crimped cable joints at all costs. They are prone to loosening, electrolytic corrosion and consequent high resistance connections. Soldered joints with glued interior shrink sleeves are better but the best is to avoid joints everywhere and run wires right into the plug pins. Aircraft spec plugs with cable seals, a seal between the two halves and a locking ring are what Ron Tauranac one of the greatest race car designer always recommended, preferably with one half of the plug fixed to a panel.

Could you turn off your trailing box just to see if there's a difference without them as I do not run trailing ignition (curious). 3. A wire attached to ground at one end and nothing on the other can easily become an antenna. It is advisable to ground both ends. If one end isn't grounded the shield can resonate. Looks awesome!!
