would it be simpler to move the motor/trans farther right to clear your leg, like the old preludes? I know you've probably done more work by now, and this would require custom halfshafts but something I thought of.

so a while back I had the opportunity to talk to both Fred Veitch and David Donohue about what they preferred for going up pikes peak and they both said it takes a softer suspension than you would think. So while I think you are going about the right adjustments to the body I wouldn't focus on lowering the car as much as you think and would instead focus on allowing the tire to move more so the ripples in the pavement wont disrupt the cars balance.

When doing wheel wells: On a stationary driving wheel 1 1/8" side clearance and 2,5" radial clearance. On turning non-driving wheel, 1 5/8" side clearance and 1,5" radial clearance. On turning driving wheel, 2 1/4" side clearance and 2,5" radial clearance. Minimum. Measured from bump stops, lowest points and turning locks. Anything smaller will start to accumulate dirt, rubber, grime, rocks etc, "But Pike's Peak is on asphalt!" It is also a normal public road, with a periodical winter. There's all that and then some on that road. Also your tire is all over the place when you are pushing the rig. Even your tightest radial street tire with the "rim cover" profile will expand and move sideways when pushed. It needs room to live, otherwise it doesn't. Also, you don't want to get steered by your tire rubbing, while navigating through a narrow hillside trail.

From my personal experiences I've always put power steering coolers in the return line from the rack to the reservoir since that line is much much lower pressure than the feed line. This allows for a greater selection of coolers and less risk of failure by having less connections in a high pressure line. Additionally cooling the fluid before it returns to the reservoir helps limit heat in the system.

With all those separate lines all needing to compete for the same space around and through the serpentine belt in that one area. You have a CNC machine. Design a passage block that fits in the space provided, so that all lines in front of the S-belt can plug into, and then all the needed exit ports to the rear, top or sides can redirect to. The block would have all the needed passages drilled through with the appropriate AN fittings at both ends of the connecting passageways. Then it could even be incorporated into the bracket all the accessories are connected to.
