Nice to see the frog 🐸 back. Not long now for another Lupo to grace the dyno. 👏👍🏻

After chatting a while back with speedingtube about his T4, we are finally off tomorrow for our first rolling road for our '76 T2 Bay camper running a 1.8T 20v BAM, Garrett 2860, external turbosmart wastegate and Emerald K6+ ECU. Will be nice to move on from the supplied base map.

@@DecimalTenths we got the fueling sorted and once balanced added some boost. Topped out at 250hp @ 397nm and then dropped down with challenges around heat dissipation. Need to look at better cooling for the intake with some additional ducting / induction.. Top news is no blown engine and a much more balanced running state Vs the stock base map 👍

Hi Nick I'm currently building a BAM to go in my Lupo. The furious frog gave me the inspiration 😂. Would love to get it run in and tuned on your dyno when it's finished in the future. Great to learn from the best 👍

Ive found a guy to build a BRM turbo engine for £1250 including parts and labour, all you need is a MG ZT block, head, exhaust manifold, turbo and emerald etc.. but you do the install yourself.. he just builds the engine to 300bhp for that cost or up to 500BHP if you pay much more...

Cool. I think it would destroy the car to be honest. It's It's charm as it is. I plan to tune this, but just n/a

Well scholar make a 1.9 kit i just spoke to the guy, some other guy did 210bh on a 1.9 elise.. Stuart farlow has around 350 bh on his 1.9 turbo.. turbo toaster has 600 bh on his elise..

Hi mate just a question, I have a vw lupo 1.0 and I'd like to put a 1.8t engine into it, how much would it cost for the conversion?
@DecimalTenths3 жыл бұрын
It could cost up to £6k to have it done for you, to a high standard. It could also cost you absolutely nothing if you did it yourself and hustled a bit
