You are right about them having made their mind up. I have talked to a few ex-creotards and I asked one how they managed to get away from it and it wasn't easy. He said it wasn't the difficulty in believing the miracles, it was just that he was curious after seeing You tube and he wanted to explore what was true, religion or science. I found it fascinating that it was not the difficulty in believing the miracles that made him change. But now he doesn't believe in such witchcraft.

A big factor in why they won't change is that they have been living with religion since they were a bubba. They have been spoon-fed as children and as they get older, it becomes nostalgic as with their parents and it's part of the comfort of religion, or should I say, tradition. Not only that, religion encourages this tradition. I don't think that's a bad thing (it's just age of earth that pisses me off). This is why their belief in a stick (turning into a snake) is ACTUALLY NOT DIFFICULT!

You are exactly right, don't worry about giving them evidence because (to them) it's like them giving you evidence. So leave your evidence for later and give it to them as a back-up. (Eg) I would point out to them that a temporary acceleration of decay is so ridiculous that it debunks it'self (and then give my scientific evidence to back up my argument). Nuclear power plants won't work unless radio-active decay is constant!. Give them evidence that is obvious or can be seen without a microscope.

Darwin said "That's the snake eventually turned into a human". Well it could have... given enough time...couldn't it? Most fairy stories start "Once upon a time" But Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah etc all start with a year, month, day, linked with a verifiable historic event, a Kings reign. etc. I'd pitch it against almost pure guesswork like the Dinosaurs dying out 64 mill yrs ago (but it could have been 60 or 68 mill.) Well a lot can happen in that 8 million yr margin of error! The Bible is Solid!

This is one of the saddest videos I've ever seen. I was taught Darwinian/Evolution Theory at School, College and University. I learned enough to breeze through my exams with top results. As a scientific thinker you should always start without bias of any kind and let the neutral science do the talking. But you don't. You use the science to prove your preconceptions. Science that doesn't fit your theories is dismissed. This isn't science, It's narrow minded, inflexible, religious dogma.

How about the fact that different dating methods gives totally different results on how old a certain rock is? I mean the errors are more than 300%. And this is a FACT, not faith or creationism. I always wonder why atheists do not study THESE FACTS. Maybe somebody here can explain why you guys ignore these FACTS. Its a fact that different long term dating mathods (there is at least 4 of them) give almost always totally different results for the same rock. And even one method can give different result if you take the sample 2 meters apart even though its the same layer. To know more about errors in dating method, search Andrew Snelling who is an expert in geology and dating and has done a lot of datings for rocks.
