Your capable editing and voice-over narration set your channel apart from other EDC reviewers. Really appreciate that. Length is just fine (unless you got more to say). Also love your salute to the fantasy world that is KZbin and the nod & wink mockumentary delivery. No doubt your channel will grow beyond your expectations and comfort level.

I often think about all the things I could go over... but I edit myself- more here than people will see. There's a lot of things I say that aren't valuable- and even more that I don't say. I've been plugging at this channel now since 2014- although at a slower pace. I don't know if it'll get much bigger without a ton of effort. There's a big chance I'll get sick of it all before it becomes worth it financially. Thanks for the kind comments!

You never know - the difference between success and failure is sometimes only a matter of persistence. You've definitely got a spark, and once the flame catches it creates its own wind. In your case, I think reviewing gear is simply a first step in the learning process. You, sir, are a commentator/observer of culture with a sharp wit and great timing. Keep going.

I have been carrying the Delica 4 every day for a couple years now and love it. I had planned on getting an Endura for the longer blade, now looks like I am buying 2 more Spyderco's this year. My only complaint about the Delica is something you noted in the review, it sticks out of the pocket just a tad to far. I really had no idea what the Wharncliffe blade was, so thanks for the education Knife Bro.
@AdvancedKnifeBro7 жыл бұрын
I only learned a few years ago... but I've seen the Wharncliffe... sheepsfoot blade argument play out online. I honestly don't care or think it's that big a deal... but some people do! I'd go with the Endura before another Delica- the dimension are very similar. The Yojimbo blade is actually easier for cutting through heavier stuff. Although I didn't spell it out in the review exactly... it takes more work to get the delica through the same bit of cardboard.

The ideal length for me depends on my mood. Sometimes I like a shorter white video and sometimes a longer blacker video, so thanks for your consideration! This looks like a great knife. I have quite a few Spyderco knives and tried the zip tie method on my Bushcraft-UK, but it actually made it harder to get out of the sheath even though the blade was fully deployed when it was pulled out. Thanks for another great video. Gonna subscribe today!

Yeah... I've tried it. It either: rips up my pocket... gets caught on something... the zip tie moves, etc... It's pretty useless for me.

An entertaining video as usual, i especially liked the lambdrawing! And the fact that the Yojimbo 2 actually has "earth" written on the blade: saves me the time of having to ask which planet it comes from:) On a side note, i was wondering if it would be possible for you to make some sort of "to be reviewed in the future" list maybe once a month, once a week or something. I dont know about others, but whenever i discover a new product(most often flashlights) i wonder if its going to be reviewed by either you or any of the others i follow on youtube. Its always good to see reviews on a product, before making a purchase, and i find your reviews to be my favorites! I also know that reviewing takes alot of your time so this is just a suggestion, and i fully understand if it would take too much time:)
@AdvancedKnifeBro7 жыл бұрын
That's a fair idea. I often times like ideas of easy videos. My reviews take a lot of time, but sometimes I wish I had some filler videos that only took 20-30 minutes or an hour to do. I am currently working on reviews for the Armytek Wizard Pro USB... the Manker MK34, I've also preordered a Cold Steel frenzy... so those are things I'm currently working on. Hopefully I'll have a flashlight review up next week.

When using the zip tie on Spyderco knife's I've found that super glue ( don't worry nail polish remover takes it right off ) on the inside of the zip tie before cinching it down into place really enhances the performance. I also cut the zip tie as close down to the head as possible after cinching down into place & add a couple drops of super glue in the space where the zip tie passes through the head. It's never failed , slipped out of place or has been in the way of anything when cutting. I have the Manix2XL with the black blade , I used a black zip tie that I put right in front of the thumb jimping on the blade. It blends right into the knife & in my opinion doesn't look bad at all. I used a medium sized zip tie that has a slightly smaller head than the " standard " size. The head has all rounded edges & doesn't tear up my pockets at all. I have a zip tie on my Endura 4 as well & I have perfect deployment everytime. I love being able to deploy my knife quickly like that it's a " must have " for me on my EDC & anyone that's hating can Fuck off & kiss my ASS.
