@@sofrancy5813 Hi. I been on my job for 5 months. I didn’t like it at first because it’s allot of work. But my body has adjust to the hard labor. Now it’s like a walk in the park. Only thing I don’t like is having to help the other housekeepers at the end. They take advantage of knowing that they will get help with their rooms so they don’t care. Other than that I love the job. I’m fast at cleaning. I’m going to talk to management about leaving when I’m finish with my list because it’s not fair to have to help others when we all get there at the same time and we all have the same number of rooms to clean. Or look for another hk job that don’t allow this. This girl today had 10/16 rooms left to clean and we were there 8 hrs. Ridicules.

@@A.Jionni We get a $0.50-$1.00 raise every year. Maybe look for other jobs that pay more. It’s allot of work and you deserve more than that. My job don’t give us health insurance because we don’t work 40 hrs a week. So I’m looking for another job. I got enough experience now.

I thought you needed a degree for this which is the reason why I haven’t applied., I was a houseman and housekeeping for years but management never wanted to give me the chance.. they are horrible. They rather give the chance to people that don’t know and leave within 3 months

I had no experience, no degree, and didn’t have to take a class. I just had a interview and I got hired as a housekeeper at a hotel. Been working there for 15 months :)
