Acctually he's not recording it separately. It's just that the kicks are electric, and thus you can not here them over the acoustic drums. Watch tthe kit as Børge plays it, and look at Asgeirs left foot while playing.

haha I love the whole 'true' metal thing, Load of fucking bollocks from kids in their bedrooms scorning anything not KVLT enough for their tastes. Isahn does have a lot more integrity than Dani Filth mind, but probably because he's recently thrown the black metal rulebook he helped write straight out the fucking window.
