@@TheCreepyArchives My problem is this video is biased. Why don’t they show them removing the dummy from the other vehicles? It’s an attempt from ford and Chevy to make people think the challenger is unsafe compared with them. They do this because they are losing money by the billions because they can’t make reliable cars. Ford has stopped production of all but two cars, because they can’t make a reliable car. Chevy has the same problem and the Campari is a death trap that has caused tens of thousands of deaths due to design flaws. Instead of trying to fix the problem they try to cover up the lawsuits and reports of steering failures and airbags not working! Not many vehicles can pass the small overlap tests. Especially minivans and crossovers! Look for yourself instead of talking crap about a subject you are ignorant of

Ford went in and redesigned the frame rail layout in the front end with the release of the 2017 Mustang models. From there on they got a "Good" rating on the small overlap crash test. The test we saw was what happens when the Crash rails are completely missed in an impact, being that those rails weren't struck, the car did pretty damned well for not causing major injury to the "passenger" in the car.
@MommyKhaos5 жыл бұрын
Nikirasu acceptable simply means the passenger compartment was deformed slightly. Good means it wasn’t at all. And as SAO said, they fixed the rails in the 2017 model, fixing the issue.

Looks like that’s a classic case of “old school” design that has been rewarmed. One thing we’ve learned is that heavier and thicker is not necessarily better when you are trying to survive crash forces. The Mopar may be heavier than the others, but it doesn’t deform to absorb the impact nearly as well as the other two. The Chevy “throws” a good deal of that force out the side with the wheel. Ford does much the same, but a fair amount of the force gets through and moves the dashboard towards the driver.
@davewindley56535 жыл бұрын
Ur Mum, I have read many times before that “crash forces increase exponentially as speed increases”. I’m not good enough at math or physics to explain why, but your point is well taken, hitting a tree at 60 will be far more destructive than at 35. The 35 mph speed is chosen because very few cars of today can provide significant protection at higher speeds.

I have been watching LOUDLABS youtuber’s channel and I see the Challenger & Charger the roofs seem to let go where the rain gutters are located, and peel back, the welds or glue let go from the entire side of the car. These were horrific crashes though, unsurvivable crashes.. It’s common more than other cars.

I was T boned while on a rental Mustang and I can confirm it fared pretty well. The guy( mexican ) fled the scene tho,and 6 months later the owner of the car he was driving asked me 5K dollars for some sort of compensation. Of course since I live in italy I've showed him by best middle finger...
@davewindley56535 жыл бұрын
Andrea Forcella That is as absurd as the guy who ran a red light, forcing me to T-bone him with my Honda GoldWing. He left the scene but 4 witnesses saw him run the red and leave. He had the nerve to claim 5K of medical damages for his passenger who was injured by my bike which weighs one third as much as the car he was driving on a suspended license. My biker lawyer made the judge laugh at the guy’s accusations when he proved that even my big, heavy, GoldWing “highway cruiser” doesn’t have enough mass to cause the injury he was blaming me for!
