Can you imagine if majority of mainstream rappers started spreading this type of wisdom & mindset in interviews and in their songs! WOW people would wake up quick!!!! We need this full thing, this is amazing. Respect.
@lorraine96smith564 жыл бұрын
I agree totally! That's why I have nothing but respect for the innovator's of rap, because they had this wisdom which they put in their raps. It was to industry made sure that wisdom is not passed on through rap, so saturated mainstream rap and rnb with money hungry, mindless individuals with no integrity and no soul. That's why today's rap and and mainstream music is so empty and has no meaningful longevity or impact.
@hi-xf7cj3 жыл бұрын
You need to be wise to spread wisdom.

*The problem with the **_early Hip-Hop culture, especially for corporations, was emcees were actually spittin' consciousness over their rhymes. Check out Public Enemy, KRS-ONE, X Clan, and Dead Prez._** This was happening so much, the **_corporations stopped playing "conscious" rap music and started promoting "gangsta rap"._** So please, before you speak about Hip-Hop's culture, do a little research first. Meaning, just 'cause you're in Hip-Hop's culture, doesn't mean you're "of" it.*

This man is the fucking truth. Such a great interview, I really have to recommend listening to the full audio of it all, Saul speaks like a prophet.
@lorraine96smith564 жыл бұрын
Saul was on point. I agreed with every word he said. It's interesting that one interviewer was silent whilst the other remained relatively quiet. The people he was referring to were sat right in front of him. As Saul said I make money but I don't need to brag about it! Certain peoples values are messed up.

Misconstrued everybody can't be the same Speaking some truth but all we need is to work togather So speak your truth but don't tear a brother down, success is in the eye of the believer and whatever in the borders of the law that bring up standing and success to our race let it be Just do not be a crab or a rat Fight the external forces but glue to gather internally What is wrong with some money? We all use it

their face is on the money and they control how much it's worth, yet you talking about economic freedom. 😂😂 currency is all speculative now anyway (except for the british pound which is still backed by gold), it's just a concept.. every dollar printed is at the expense of some black person in the global south. you really don't understand how capitalism actually works do you? idiots.
