IISS Prague Defence Summit: Keynote Address

Petr Pavel, President, Czech Republic delivered the Keynote Address at the IISS Prague Defence Summit.
In his Keynote Address to the IISS Prague Defence Summit on Friday 8 November, President of the Czech Republic General (Retd) Petr Pavel asserted that ‘maintaining a strong transatlantic bond is not merely a strategic choice, but a necessity. A robust US presence in Europe reinforces NATO’s collective defence and sends a clear message to those who intend to threaten peace'.
