Tried SampleTank 3, many years ago....couldn't stand it..... Used Amplitube 3 since around 2010(?) and liked it..... But just recently upgraded to Amplitube 5 Max....really like it so far......then decided to splurge on their Hammond B3-X.....that's another winner in my opinion...... I was considering their Syntronic software....but honestly, I just have no real need for it.

Those pop up menus in sample tank are way too sticky if you're just looking and don't actually want to select anything from the popup. You can't just click in the same spot to make it go away. You have to go find somewhere neutral on the UI to click to make it go away. It's surprisingly irritating.

Hi. I saw you put reastream at the end of the chain. Is this part of your screen recording setup? And yeah, I had the same problems with ST3 and IKM never solved it. Bummer! ST4 however is all fine.

Yeah. I send ReaStream via local broadcast to OBS (my screen recorder).

Yeah, cool song part. The 50s may call and want the vibe and I-VIm chords back, but just refuse. It's yours for this song! :D And although I've had the little brother for a good while and upgraded to MAX about a year ago I have to agree. Great tools at the core where you need them and most sounds fantastic with a little tweaking, and that's the point of all the buttons. The installation process was more tedious than necessary and just about all preset selectors, file selectors and drop down selectors is close to a headache.Yeah, they suck haha. Eventually you get used to it. If that's a good thing I'm not sure. Then you're left with the sounds, and that's where MAX shines and there are no end to the tools. And oh! I had some weird problems with Sampletank 3 crashing like a maniac dying and leaving with a loud hi pitched noise!!! I googled it for a while and searched forums and I wasn't alone, but I found no solution for me. For other reasons I reinstalled Windows and eventually ST3 ... and now ith works. Same computer, new OS. For some reason I like ST3 better than ST4 but none of them are any favorites.

@@TalkingLeafMedia Well now THAT makes sense! Very informative video and an interesting followup to the janky aspect of the software. Which, by the way, I experienced when I installed Amplitube 5max, bundeled wiht a free version of T-Rack wiht only one rack piece availible and the rest for a fee... I.e. add ware i.e. malware. Not a good look for a company to bundel malware with thier software. Hey, one other thing...Great little tune you whipped up here except it's stuck in my head like a bad commercial. Thanks for that!! hahahah no, no, JK, JK, nicely done, nicley done.

Yeah.....setup of the ST4 package was off-the-charts irritating and extrEMELY time consuming. That needs to change. There's no sense in it. Love the library but....omG that setup!!!!

The only plugin I've never gotten to work is Sample Tank 4 SE. I would never buy a product from this company. No customer support. Zero
