nice flying! I did this yesterday, there's certainly a lot to do in the circuit. That second stage of flaps is a test of strength too lol.

Yes, that's pretty much it. It would come in handy should your instruments fail on approach too!

Very nice. But what's the deal with covering the instruments? Is it intented as a way to help develop better "feel" for attitude and speed?

Is the flap for just training purposes? The Ikarus rarely needs it.
