Their personal life was another matter, at best, 'deeply flawed'. Their relationship was not always bad & had some very good times. They did have a son together, & adopted each other's children from previous relationships. I have a friend who lived with them when he was young & remained friends with both Tina/Anna Mae & Ike until the day they died. (So sad that Tina is recently now gone). The bad stuff was dreadful & not in any way to be condoned. There is also a lot of information the world outside of their family, & maybe some close friends, will probably never know. The The Ike & Tina Revue Band remains magnificent.

When I was a child and my mother and I saw Tina Turner on TV in the 1980s, my mother would always say, "Man, she can dance!" My mother always admired Tina Turner and also Cher. My mother would be Cher and Tina Turner's age now. Unfortunately, she has been dead for almost 13 years. Whenever I hear about Tina or Cher, I think back to the time with my mother in the 80s.

we are playing this song and doing the moves here in Australia I still remember the moves and i am 67 years old
