I don't know about you, but Mark's instructions were crystal clear for me. Wade's instructions were ambiguous, as it depends on the perspective being considered. Are we talking about the current orientation, or the finished product? Saying "flower side up" can be interpreted either way. While Mark should have said "flower side is receiving the legs" or something like that, his instructions clearly linked the flower side to the legs. This clearly means that the legs go into the flower side. In addition, "It is the line away from the flower" makes it clear that the lines go on the far side of the legs relative to the flower, and this also reinforces that it is the flower side in question.

In all fairness, flower up was confusing to me as well. Leg side is receiving on the flowers is odd, but understandable. I think I preferred wavy vs pointy description (put legs on pointy side) and rather than up or down, and I'd need to be told if the line is close to the table or far away (distal, apparently), in place of up/down. Fascinating to watch different minds attack the tasks 😅
