Love what you did with these units. I am looking to replace the cutting table in my sewing room with something like this. The extra storage would be wonderful! Is the IKEA top sturdy? I need an overhang on all four sides, and will be putting some pressure on it when cutting fabric. I plan on buying white units, especially after watching the extra work it made having to paint them. Loved how you put the wood on the end for the extra storage, and to hide the difference in height. Thank you so much for this video. It is inspiring!

Wonderful transformation! Also, this will make a great craft table. I have a 16 cubby Kalax unit. I’m going to have to see if it can be cut in half to crest a table like this. I love the wood on the side, too. Thanks for sharing.
