A review when someone just holds the desk and shakes it so we can actually see how wobbly it is. FINALLY!

I have this and I have to say it's really good. People with Monitor arms will struggle unless you put your monitor arm on the very edge where there is a tiny bit of space or the left or right but generally if you only have one table you will have problem. I bought two of these and a table between them to put my monitor arm. The other solution is drill the arm to the wall but I know that is a problem for most people.

@@eXXRazer you can to yank the wire manager off. It's made from like cotton or smth. The monitor arm will be off ce get because of the center of the table is really thin because of the Cable management and won't be able to support the strength of a monitor arm

Thank you for making this video. I was worried about the stability of the desk and it wobbling as that is common on cheaper/more affordable adjustable desks, but this one looks stable. I can see why people may prefer other Ikea desks such as the Bekant as its a bit "softer" for the home. The Mittzon appears to be more designed for the office. I'm getting the Mittzon acoustic panels as well so I can really isolate my desk from the rest of the room. The biggest and only downside I can see with this desk is that it doesn't seem compatible with monitor stands that clamp to the desk.

Pay attention to 2:12! If you watch closely, there's available bare desk space at the middle "cable management" socket where the felt doesn't touch it directly (it doesn't the desk at any place). You can see it from another angle at 1:42. This confirms what was said on a reddit some time ago and at least shows that you can install a monitor arm in the middle, I'm not sure if you can replicate the same process on the side with the power strip socket thing. Hope that helped!

1 of 3 things. Remove the cable management entirely, or u can modify it by cutting a hole where the monitor arms r gonna go, and finally you could attach it to the middle cable management lid on the top of the desk is. Just tips I saw from other commenters, I'll probs go with modifying the back cable management

And where exactly do you mount a monitor arm at the rear of the desk.... It's 2024 wake up.
@infeltk
@infeltk Ай бұрын
Disappointing product. There is no 120x70 or 130x70 version. 60cm is too narrow for a 24-inch FHD screen. You can't mount the screen on an arm at the back because the cable cover gets in the way. An electrical socket on the table is not needed and will gather dust. If someone works a lot at a desk (and that's why they buy an electric desk), they have external monitors because working at a laptop destroys the spine. Too bad, my money went to Chinese manufacturers, and I would prefer an Ikea product with a 10-year warranty.
@TVClammier

What do you mean 60cm is too narrow?! I have 3 x 27" QHD on my 60cm desk and it's perfectly fine. And electrical socket has its use for some, I plan to use it for phone charger for example.
