Hi, Swede here 👋 Here in Sweden we often decorate with those paper stars in the windows, each window gets a star with a light source, either hanging as a pendant or on a lamp fot. Walking around in December in Sweden, you will se almost every window decorated with a Christmas light ⭐

Where I used to live in Pennsylvania, we used battery-operated candles in each window, actually year round, but the idea of the stars lit up sounds magical. I imagine that you probably had snow on the ground, too?

So much of the decor this year reminds me of Christmas growing up - my mom is Swedish, so the house was always filled with Swedish decor! I love that Ikea is doing that style this year.

They have so many cute things at Ikea this year, it’s hard to choose! I did already pick up the cream colored ceramic house that you showed on the red tray (reminds me of cardboard houses we used to put around our tree when I was a kid) and paired it with 3 of the Lone Fox marble trees from your Christmas Shop (two white, one chocolate 😊). I elevated the house and two of the trees on a wooden riser and I think they look stunning on my dark quartzite countertop. Thanks for the great ideas!

My closest IKEA is about.. almost 2 hours away and it's downtown Atlanta Georgia and I can never find anyone willing to go with me.. but I still love watching these! When I lived in San Diego, my girlfriends and I went at least once a month.. the coffee is so good!

Wondering if you could make candle holder out of plaster (?) using the oval shaped gold candle holder? Use "Release" to easily remove the harden olaster, paint and Viola'! You now have another candle holder! Just a thought! Love the Christmas items!

Amaryllis, not hibiscus. Amaryllis is grown inside during cold weather as a forced flower bulb and perfect for an early flower during February or March. Then planted outside after first frost. Hibiscus is tropical or subtropical. Either way, still love Ikea

As a swede I'm quite suprised that americans that are a LOT more christian than us don't know the Bethlehem/christmas star. We hang it in the window. Just like the star on top of the christmas tree its a christian star.

I was just at IKEA Pittsburgh today and there’s barely any inventory. The store has been undergoing renovation since the summer, there are fewer displays everytime I go, and the Christmas section had very very few items like I see in these videos. BUT if you’re looking for Poang chairs in any configuration or color, that we have plenty of. 🙄 Not sure what’s up with Pittsburgh. The parking lot is always full so it’s not lack of customers. And you can’t blame the relative size of the Pittsburgh store if half the inventory is missing and half the store is behind canvas drop cloths. It’s ridiculous.
