Thank you for posting this. I am in the market to replace my 10 year old twin bed for something a little more efficient storage wise. I saw this a few days ago on the Ikea website, but we all know that pictures not always do justice to a product. Anyhow, I'm surprised it only took you 5hrs to assemble this bed all by yourself! A few days ago my sister bought a twin bed for a spare bedroom and even though it was super simple (only 8 big pieces) took us nearly 6hrs to complete. The only thing I don't like is that the drawers don't go all the way to the back. Oh well, I guess I could just rise my mattress every time I want to store or retrieve something. By the way, do you think that bed will fit a twin xl mattress?

No this bed can only fit 90x200 mattress. It is a single bed. The drawer doesn’t go all the way in but because of that I can store my xxl luggage away. I also put my seasonal clothes in those luggage. It saved me a ton of space in my tiny room

It is a twin bed frame, as such the mattress length is 75" . A twin extra long is 80" long. No twin XL will not fit .

Haha. I remembered it has 2 parts showing 2 different position (option) of the drawer that you want to place, so read a little bit more and may be you will find it out !

You can adjust it to the side you want to. Just need a little bit of imagination and calculation
