Small correction, but both allow you to use them with a smart plug. Both return to their previous setting when plugged in after a power loss.

Maybe you can get aftermarket HEPA cabin filter? Or atleast get a fresh cabin filter for your car. Air purifier is just a fan and a filter and your car already has that.

why do you say they don't use true HEPA filter?

In general, True HEPA refers to H13-grade filters, but IKEA uses H12-grade filters, which I feel are sufficient for household use.

It should be called a EPA and not HEPA filter, on these IKEA units.

You'll need an activated carbon filter for that. You're only able to use a carbon filter with the Fornuftig, not the Uppativnd
