I love how future tom couldn't tell past tom whether iki 2 was any good for paradox reasons, but had no qualms telling him exactly how matt died immediately afterward

The paradox is that telling the audience that iki 2 is far superior to the original game would lead us to wait for its release instead of buying iki, which would lead to the bankrupcy of the editor, and because of this, iki 2 would never exist. Problem is: telling us there is a paradox is enough for us to deduce its nature, which is why I won't buy iki, thus risking to tear the fabric of time

This is definitely a unique game, and while I enjoyed my play of it, I let it go. My wife, and a friend of ours, did not enjoy the game. Resources were too tight to come by, and there was only a few turns you could do something to try and gain points. The rest of your turns were spent moving up the fire track or gaining food to feed your merchants. It felt like stuff I had to do, and not stuff I wanted to do.
