I don't usually watch every video of people i follow but every time i see that you uploaded something i'm genuinely excited to see what you've created. Brown is my favorite color and it's so cool to see someone else who also likes it! All of these turned out so cute. I used to struggle a lot with making my arms too long for my sweaters, especially for drop-shoulder ones. But the way you rolled the sleeves for your ribbed sweater is super cute! It looks intentional and adds a lovely touch of visual interest to a classic piece. A trick i use for sleeves is to make them about 3 or 4 inches shorter than i think i need (especially if i intend to block it). Even if they end up being a little short, I can always add a cuff for the extra length. The argyle vest turned out so good! Color work is so time consuming, but the end result is stunning

That vest is incredible! I'm always so wary of doing colorwork because I either make the floats too tight which pulls on the design, or too loose which leaves them flopping around and I know I would snag my hand on one when putting it on! To get correct or close to correct. You have to calculate a swatch/gauge. Crochet or knit a small (about 4-5 inch) square sample wash and block it and THEN measure that. make measurements for a project like a sweater based on the measurements of that square.

Next time you make a vest or sweater with lots of loose ends, you should try lining it with a fluffy Sherpa fabric! It's less weaving in, less messy insides, and super cozy for winter!
