@@nolifeontheline2167fellow ADHD person here, I take forever for my WIP (if I finish them at all, for some it's yet to be determined lol) but I think that's okay! We're all on our own time and as long as we're having fun doing it, that's what counts (also now with Christmas coming up I'm in crochet crunch season for the presents, gonna speed up this whole process a little bit haha)

I'm 62 years old. I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and I think your pieces are fabulous! I think the colors back then were brighter and more in your face than what you're using, but I prefer what you've chosen.

Girl, THAT SKIRT!! I've never seen someone make something like that before. Also love love love the colors in that first sweater you made with the red tones. You did an amazing job!!!

As someone who cannot finish a piece for the life of me, I just wanted to say you are literally AMAZING! The amount of pure motivation you have for your projects is what we all want to achieve! You are incredibly consistent with your crochet + knitting and you have built an astonishing collection of pieces (like omg, the colour themed clothing and the seasons!?!). Thank you for fuelling my crochet creativity as well as every other subscriber’s! Be proud ❤

I think the reason why you're are always so long is because you measure from your actual shoulder rather than where the front and back panels hit your shoulder. When measuring, hold the front panel to your chest and measure where the arm hole sits on you. I hope this helps 🫰🏾. Love your videos even though I don't knit 😅

If you want to knit a lot faster, I would recommend switching to continental knitting. You basically switch the hand in which you hold the yarn and it goes SOOO smoothly. It's a bit more tricky to switch to if you're used to holding the yarn in your right hand, but it's well worth it and once you have it figured I'm sure you'll love it! I followed a tutorial from Yay for Yarn, but NimbleNeedles also has a great in-depth tutorial

That 'popping noise' is most likely just air escaping from the fibers of the yarn as tiny bubbles and you're hearing the bubbles popping as they hit the surface of the water. The reason why you soak it for a while is to give the water time to seep in to the fibers fully.

To help with the waist band stretching out issue, try adding elastic to help ease the strain. For smaller places like cuffs you can use the really thin cord and for waist bands try the quarter inch in 2 spots (did this in the past and have had no issues with the bands stretching out) Hope this helps

Please don’t apologize for your video quality! I love your videos so much because of YOU and your endearing and charming personality! I’ll put them on while I knit or crochet and it feels like I’m knitting with a friend in the room. The audio and visuals feel very handmade, just like your pieces! If you want some better audio though I would recommend a handheld audio recorder that can connect to your phone and then your laptop (if you’re getting the newest iPhones and have a MacBook look for USBC cables, if not look for a regular USB port attachment). Also if you want to branch out with knitting more I would look into colourwork / fair isle knitting, learning to do cables, and even lace knitting. Or even making socks, I finished my first sock recently and it was SO rewarding and easy! I’m with you when it comes to just sticking to basics as a beginner, but my grandma is an amazing fiber artist and these are some things I’m going to be trying with her! Always love your videos, and I’m definitely going to make that orange striped sweater one day!! Much love💕💕💕

With the audio recorder I would look into free audio processing software as well, if you look up stuff on handheld audio recorders and how to export that audio there should be loads on info and links to free software!

Your hair always looks beautiful! I love how it looks in the intro, it looked really cute! You are a beautiful, talented and awesome young lady! All the items you made are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! You make knitting look so easy! I wish I could knit as fast as you! At one point I had a whole lot of yarn and had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to make, then it dawned on me that I needed a bedspread! I came up with a granny square, similar to one I saw online, and made enough to make a full sized bedspread! I made each square with a combination of about 15 different colors, adding variety by using the colors randomly for each row, so no square is the same! It's really heavy but I absolutely love it! It took me a year to make! Only because I had so many other things going on at the moment. I love all different types of crafts and plan on getting back to crocheting and knitting soon! I made two pairs of thigh high socks, both a combo of crochet and knit, for one of my daughter in laws and she loved them! Thanks again for sharing! Blessings of love and light to all!

Every video I watch I’m just amazed at your talent. I think the Autumnal striped sweater would look so cute over a dress! Like a silky slip style dress. 😍 Plus it would be super comfy. Also I really like your bangs! It definitely takes time to train your hair so it sits properly when you first cut bangs. I think that’s why a lot of people think they hate bangs on themselves because they’re wonky at first. But after a couple days and some washes and training, they can look so good. I’ve always loved bangs on curly hair. I think it’s very underrated. I hope you keep them! 🖤

Love the skirt especially! A note on your bangs.... we don’t care. And I don’t mean that in a “omg shut up about it” mean way, I mean that in a “I don’t see an issue with your hair and would not have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out” way~❤

Wow! Your knitting and crocheting fall projects turned out awesome! You are mad skilled! I wish I could be even half as adept as you. I tried crocheting two years ago for the first time in my life (I won't tell you how old I am...) and I could barely crochet a dishcloth. I tried knitting when I was in my teens but I couldn't maintain consistent tension. It's frustrating because I see so many just catch on and creating fantastic clothing and items and I wish I could too. I guess I'll just have to be content to admire creators like yourself and be inspired. :)
