In my old saab days, I used to go into Vermont to Rosen and Berger's junk yard to pick saabs over, bring it back to the front desk and pay. I don't even know if that is still possible. I wish I could find a more local junk yards that let us pick, and has Saabs. Good for you, stating "if you don't need it, don't destroy it getting it off for some other part". People just don't care, unless they are the victims of somebody wrecking a part they need! Nice video, Gary!

Gary, love to watch your videos especially all your junk yard tours, unfortunately there are not many junk yards in my area like yours ... the nearest one is LKQ which I've to drive at least 30 mins to get there but they don't have Saab at all ! Perhaps I need to buy from your again for both of my 05 & 06 Saab 9-3

Holy dude, nice Saab. My first car is a Saab and honestly I love the car sadly the previous owner had it in rough shape. Trying to get it in better shape

Not only Xenon headlights, but they are AFL as well 👌 (two control modules on the bottom)

If you grab the other side, fix the lens and also grab the AFL Module next to the fuse box, you May have an OK AFL upgrade kit 😁

Nice :) Did you check if the side mirrors was foldabe? I Always take them if they are :) I have a 9-3 SC MY06 that I have put the 9-3 SC MY07 anniversary interior. Got doorpanels, seats (both electric) and all the plastic (black) for 1200 SEK its about $137. In Sweden thats a really good price :)

Dang that's awesome you got the full 60th anniversary interior for that cheap!! Unfortunately, the mirrors on this car were just the memory ones that dip down and not power fold. The power fold mirrors I installed on my red aero is probably the most used mod on the car!

@@WeakestofWeeks I took out my old one and installed the new cupholder by removing the ashtray shelf and the temperature control panel (without unplugging it, just turned it sideways) then the cover over cupholder. Then assembled from cupholder down. I don't hardly use it but I'm glad I have it. Did you get the rubber spray balls from the headlight washer? I have two extra that I keep in my driver's door just in case I lose one. I enjoy your content and have a great day.

You got that right! With the volume of cars they get in this yard the workers drain fluids (gas, oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.), rip the battery out, cut catalytic converters out all as crudely as possible to save time. Then they fork the cars up and drop them down always busting up the rocker panels and what's left of the exhaust. If that isn't bad enough then some fool comes and cuts up the air bag! At then end of the day tho at least I'm lucky enough to find some Saabs in my local yard regardless of condition.

How's the progress on your Saab? So Kyle updated the tracking # in PayPal and shipped via USPS. I know he's pretty backed up with orders, so if you haven't heard from him yet just be patient!

@@WeakestofWeeks just put the second head back on, wanted to take a pic of the beautiful reconditioned head but was reluctant on getting this head installed. I have to clean and refurbish the oil pan. When I first did the valve springs, a valve spring cap and retainer fell into the oil pan thus the head removals once again.
