***CORRECTION*** This is a little lume on the GMT hand!
@jaredstephenson64683 ай бұрын
I don't get removing the date function on a GMT watch when the entire point of a GMT is to be a travel tool...and the movement already has the capability built-in. Feels like cutting corners to me. It's the one thing that holds me back. I also disagree about the website-I think it's very clunky and the photos are super dark. Lots of room for improvement with the brand but I do love the design aesthetic and the color choices.
@acethis3 ай бұрын
I totally agree. Removing the date from a GMT watch is similar to removing the speedometer from a sports car. GMT and the date works hand-in-hand for a purpose and it's a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, I would have pulled the trigger long ago.

I looked at their divers, and $550 is too much, IMO. It's a Miyota diver on a rubber strap. There's no reason to doll this up with buzzwords like "Swiss lume" and "assembled in Germany." Especially when the lume is sub-par and the watch would perform the exact same if it were assembled in Mexico. It's not like the Germans built the movement. They shoved a stem into it. Website be damned.

I discovered Nezumi about a week ago and immediately fell in love with the black version of the Baleine. Unfortunately too late, it was already sold out at the time. Now I'm trying to develop the same attraction for the Aviera or Terrain, which I also find really beautiful, but which unfortunately don't generate the same level of excitement. I will have to watch your video 2-3 more times, thank you very much for the introduction and the high quality footage of this beautiful watch. ✌

Love the rubber strap colour, but the length is ridiculous. If you consider you have an average sized wrist, there are still 6 more holes to go for larger sizes. Sloppy design and it means most people are left with a lot of remaining strap creeping back around their wrist... I'm sure some won't mind but it's a personal pet peeve.

I have had the blue version for a few months and luuuuurve it to pieces, to the point that it has been my go-to for most worn watch since it's arrival. Agree about the lume, a bit weak, but the watch carries it off with that superb styling. The GMT hand does actually have a small lume application on it's tip. Cracking watch. Oh, and the box looks good as an "item" on display, up on the shelf.

Very nice watch, it's somewhat reminiscent if the BB Pro. You don't see too many thin bevels that are brushed. Is the strap maybe a touch long? I believe the older versions of this watch did have NH34 movements. The watch by the way deserves a quick adjustment clasp.

For $100 more, I opted for the Zelos Thresher GMT, with full titanium (hard coated) build, case and bracelet, on the fly adjustment clasp, date feature retained, lume like the sun, same movement, but with world time zones on the lumed bezel. Intro pricing has now ended, and the aventurine dial (and bezel!) I bought is sold out. But it was worth the extra coin, for sure. Seems the creator doesn't like a date feature, given that it's missing on every watch offered? Elshan at Zelos also included a cracking three watch travel case. Microbrands are awesome! Nice to see Miyota getting used more. Wise (excellent Thailand brand) has a GMT with it as well, with blazing BGW9 lume, for similar pricing as Zelos. IMO, no excuse for weak lume, at nearly $600, on this offering. Does look sharp, but the brand is a pass for me. Always appreciate your reviews! Still loving my Forteller, thanks again!

Great that this watch is a true GMT. Lume is one of the very last things you should economise on, the BOM cost is only slightly affected by shaving a few pennies off the final price to the maker. Handsome watch but I do prefer that the font used for the print under a logo is unique looking. Simple looking text like True Type Font or Times New Roman, whatever it is looks like a compromise by not engaging a designer for that or at least a more unique looking text. Prefer applied logos in fact, silk screen printed is always less impressive and a compromise. The stamped clasp not amazing at this price when measured against San Martins at half the price. I would prefer those things attended to for say an extra £50. Other than those niggles, a fine looking watch. The broad arrowhead GMT hand is a great choice, colourways very nice, case looks well finished and bracelet, well you can't go wrong with a jubilee and the packaging very nice.
