Remember this. No matter what the addiction drugs, sex, gambling, or anything. The addiction will airways be there forever. It's a fight for life. Lost many friends to drugs, including a girlfriend back in 2010. Lost a friend on February 17 2017. That day my friends cat died, inky on the operating table. My friend Matty, passed from overdose. He hasn't done that for over a decade. He was gonna get married 6 months later. It would have been his second marriage. His son graduated high school past year. I'm a metal head into many genres. I normally avoid this song because drugs have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember, lost my dad to a heroin overdose 3 years ago, and every since then my brother has addicted to both heroin and meth, I’ve lost well over 10 friends in the last 5 years to OD’s. Luckily I never went down that road, but hearing this song hurts me. But great reaction though! Keep it up! 🙌🏻

This hit really deep for me. Because I made a "friend" that was hooked on meth, and I didn't mind it. But i just started hanging out with him a whole lot, to the point I felt more at home in HIS home than in MY home. One day we had a party and I ended up getting blackout drunk. A couple days later I was told they left the pipe alone in the room with me, and I may have done it when no one was around. I literally went insane and didn't even know it. I was put in the mental health part of the hospital twice. I no longer hang out with him anymore because the only we hang is if we are drinking together. But I'm way better now. But I now have drug endused schizophrenia. And I don't blame him or anyone around him. I can only blame myself and regret all of the actions that let up to it all. I'm still disappointed in myself to this day and i wonder what my life would be like if I NEVER got in the car that was taken to his house and I wasn't introduced to him and never even knew him at all. So many other problems came with hanging out with those wrong people. But I can only blame myself.

I am a ex addict and I am not condoning drug use i have been brought back twice from overdose but we don't start taking drugs because we think would be fun every person who I've known that did did it as a temporary solution to escape from either mental illness past traumatic experiences i was schizophrenia and PTSD I'm glad that sister is sober i know the strength it takes and as knowledge those who have beaten the addiction
