The lack of defensive awareness was I think the biggest reason the Jets lost their 2024 playoff series. Allowing 28 goals, 24 of them other than empty-netters, over 5 games and no fewer than 5 per game, hurt the Jets so badly in that series.

Avs fan here. Guys don't overthink it rick is a good coach. Helly is a good goalie. The Avs are just too much to handle when they are putting it all on the line. Georgiev is our wildcard.

After the Taffoli goal the Jets seemed down to me. Like that could have been a huge moment but they all were just like...meh?

Just watching the day after. Why, as an organization, do we draft and develop defencemen just to let them walk or lost on waivers? This, without giving them a real chance at the NHL level, i.e. Kovecvich, now in Montreal.

Out of the other 15 teams where would the Jets fit in that group. My guess is no better than 8th. They are not built for playoffs. Defence is to small. Where would Jets 1st line rate against 15 other teams.

There are 3 seasons in hockey. The only that really counts is 3. Discuss strategy all you want, if you can’t take your game up a couple notches you can’t win. That simple. Playing 40 or 60 minutes out of 5 games and you think that makes you the winner. The coach does not play the game. Show me something once and you must repeat that higher level every shift. Not enough players at that level.

You guys are discussing not booing your player for scoring a goal on his own team. The crowd also booed an Avalanche player who went down hurt. Classes. Avs fans applauded a Jets player getting back up in game 3 or 4. Jets fans were in every way classes in the arena during game 5. Series loss deserved.
