I love the compactness, though I'd like to see a 'week one low memetic version, also, while water purification can be easily added, I supposed you meant this to work in conjunction with your water purifying 'addition' and acid farm 'addition'?

@@rakonsmith3878 yes. I prefer to build it separately, because I usually place a base on a border of a polluted zone, to have both pure and polluted water.

@@KIANL-GAMER I built this yesterday and got 4+ boxes on the wall above the furnace/barrel switches, and more above the work benches using the straight line wall rack. can also put one next to the disassembler and still access everything. You literally missed nothing with this build, I don't think it's possible to cram more needed items in a space like this. Very well done.

If you want to add biomass generators you can do it under the stairs on the side. Hell you can even extend the stairs to fit upwards of 6 of them under there. And if you're lucky enough to be able to have 8 generators you can even add the last 2 on the edge right next to the garage.

This is a good beginner base to start off with in the Way of Winter scenario, but if players build within Thermal Towers, players will need to build a good fortress to withstand attacks during purifications ~

Unless or until they've changed it, tower purifications are useless. I was there last season and the tower still functions normally and the rewards weren't really worth it.

@Retik7 Yeah, they should fix that. I remember settling down during my first go at it (when chaosweavers could destroy bases) and I was surprised my tiny base was good, then the devs made structures invulnerable. Then, people started doing the harder difficulties and my base got desroyed by a lot of elites during purifications.

That optimal farm was so good.. one question what about grow lights will it grow with 0 light?

yes. normal crops will grow about 20-30% slower, and contaminated crops don't require light at all

Yeah I guess the way to get it to work is to install it brand new. You can’t just stack them by moving them if they were already installed prior. Only works if you install brand new.

I really enjoy your tutorials on building techniques. I’d like to ask if there’s a convenient way to adjust the brightness percentage of artificial grow lights in a two-story indoor farm without having to move the lights or blocking the plants’ light exposure?

As far as I know, the only way is to adjust the facility itself. You just approach it, and you can adjust how bright it will be: from 10 to 100.

Yes it still works, you could build in wood but you may have issues upgrading as you would be building out of order.

I feel like a noob here asking lol but how do you seed the soil without breaking everything down? I'm new to the game and haven't played around with farming/soil much as of yet. If you have this explained in the comments already I apologize. I was looking but didn't see anyone ask so i'm assuming it's a common knowledge thing for people who actually use farms in this game. I know of the growshroom but I haven't used it much either yet.

hello. growshroom can plants seeds on his own, using fertilizers. u just give them to him, and he goes plant. when the crops are mature, he harvests. this farm on top is from the separate vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaurh52ercaGorc and you can see there, how growshroom works
