Love to watch you move to the sounds... makes it different from other reactors. I like your style. I'm mostly here for ptx, but I enjoy your reactions

Here's another example of Pentatonix's genius. They put the right voices in the right places. Having Kirstie and Matt sing the closing phrases after the wall of sound is just plain awesome.

The videography (is that the correct word?) is alway incredible, it seems so simple yet powerful. They never overdo the videos, I am never distracted from the music by the visuals, they seem to just hit the sweet spot with the videos enhancing the song. Love them. I listen to them all the time.

Great reaction Those first few notes of Matt just turns me to butter. The blend of voices is like no other. A day doesn't pass without me listening to PTX. This is so atmospheric and soul twisting. I hear a little something different every time I listen this piece of art. I completely agree with your advice. We all need to unplug and connect with the universe daily. List some things you are grateful for - that make you happy deep inside. Find a way to help another human being. There is no better feeling in the world. And I have to say PTX represents all of these things. And you're right; these amazing singers continue to surpass themselves.

Whenever they sing, they arrange it and sing it and interpret it to perfection. That is why, we Pentaholics say, "They don't do covers, they do upgrades!" Please do Amazing Grace, and, for a change of pace, do their 90's Dance Medley. I promise you, it's a BIG bop! You'll enjoy the heck out of it!

Love it! Just some cool back info on this song. It was originally written and performed by Tears for Fears in 1982. I was 13 when the album called "The Hurting" was released. The two men who were and still are Tears for Fears are Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. They were very into a book called "The Silent Scream". It was a book that addresses child abuse, etc.. The whole "The Hurting album is on KZbin. Also, the bass player (Curt Smith who sang this) has a really good video with his teenage daughter doing this. It's really beautiful! ♡♡♡

Only second time here to your channel. Love your reactions. I think what makes this group so so so amazing is that they truly love all kinds of music and connect with music and songs themselves that they really do connect in some way to the songs they sing and it really comes across when they are singing them. Out of all the A Cappella groups out their right now PTX is the best by far at making you feel the songs.

You should listen to their cover of when the party’s over and then watch Mitch sing a cover of your power, both by billow eilish. Also strongly recommend their cover of Gold, by Kiara (listen to the original to REALLY appreciate the mastery of their cover). And then watch Superfruit which is Scott and Mitch, I’d recommend Empire medley, Rhianna medley and Beyoncé medley. I appreciate and agree 100% with everything you said.

This includes a very good example of the Pentatonix 'Wall of Sound' - which they often do on the ballads. Love them, so powerful. I've loved Mad World since Tears for Fears first released it in the 80s. It became popular as a soundtrack song on Donny Darko. Like you I actually prefer this to the original and I never thought that would be the case!

I see you have started into the rabbit hole known as Pentatonix, It's a great place to be with a very active fan base. When you wish to check out another rabbit hole just as great check out Angelina Jordan a great start would be "Summertime" from Norways got Talent. She is 7 (Yes 7) she is now 16 and has 100's of covers and multiple songs that she has written herself. Keep up your heartfelt reactions.

I have not and will not ever listen to them since Avi left, and the fact they sued him for leaving. That is one trashygroup.
@elizabethfelet47432 жыл бұрын
Pam S Carr - do you have proof about the suing? And how do you know it was them suing him, and not the other way around? Rumours abound about their split, and there are equal rumours out there that he prevented 40 or 50 different songs from ever being released. And that he was actually a toxic individual that constantly insulted Kirstin for both her vocals and her stage presence, saying she was the weak link and the band had to decide - either him, or her. They chose her. So, did he pick up his shovel and pail and walk out of the sandbox like a child having a temper tantrum? No one knows - they are VERY tightlipped about it. And we will never know. Funny though, how you say you will not ever listen to them since Avi left, and yet here you are, listening to a song by them without Avi. I think you like being a troll. And, to the reactor - you spend the entire video praising this group, yet you liked this comment??? Yeah, hard pass on you.
@jeffreydarwin79432 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethfelet4743 you forgot one thing Avi and Kirsten had a thing and Kirsten broke it off, thats when Avi became toxic. Dont know if this is all true but its a shame because they are all gifted , talented individuals.
@toni-annmyers36042 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethfelet4743 you’re spot on. I think the fact that Avi’s sister Esther was at Scott’s 30th birthday party in Sept, after continuing on as their manager for the tour directly following Avi’s departure (until she chose to stop touring to start a family), says a lot about the group. Avi is still her brother. If he’d been treated so poorly by them, as Pam tries to imply on oh so May reactor’s videos, why would Esther still be their friend? I mean, continuing as a manager if she had to for contractual reasons is one thing, but here we are over four years later and she’s at Scott’s house for his birthday party (there are photos). Yeah, sounds like they were so awful to her brother 🙄
