Imagine telling someone you were a part of an epic 9 OT game, they would probably think the score was 90-88, and then you tell them it was 20-18. What an embarrassing loss for one of college football's "blue-bloods"

I was a grad student at Illinois back in 84 and 85. Right before I got there they were ranked #1 in many pre-season polls. What the heck happened that they are consistently so bad?

im debating with myself if the 2 point convo rule starting in the 3rd overtime makes it more or less entertaining. idk man

PSU is overrated/overhyped/over ranked every season. Glad to see them lose at home to an unranked team.

I wouldn't say every season, but under James Franklin, definitely.

The refs taking away that TD for Penn State was what lost them the game
@trevinschaerr37323 жыл бұрын
That and also not pulverizing Illinois like you should if you're the #7 team in the country.

I remember seeing this headline on ESPN, showed the score 20-18 and 9OT... I thought it had to be a typo, how in the heII can a game go 9 over times and only be 18-20... It's crazy.
