Dont need to break that little ledge, after remove the battery just push out the outside connection by pushing it by inside whit a small screwdriver it really pop out easy then after installing the new battery and the mother board all you have to do reconnect both connectors in one step.

I have just changed my battery as well. You really don't need to break off this plastic edge. Instead, you can push the contacts out of the casing (they are lightly glued), then reinsert the circuit board, and afterwards place the contacts back into the casing onto the contacts of the circuit board. 👌

You better have a look at the pins to make sure one didnt get bent

My sena 20 will charge but wont power on. Anyone have an idea why?

You may need to contact Sena about it. Sometimes they will still warranty them.

So I’ve done this twice. My Sena 20s evo will not hold a charge. It will completely die and will not charge again. I think it’s my hardware board issue🤷🏽

I had the same issue.. Try pushing the reset button on the back and charging.. You might have to do it a few times, it worked for me.

Just underneath the plastic connector, where the battery hook is connected, there is a connector that might be unshielded and might need some tin to weld it back on. I had the same issue. In this particular video, he does not remove that secondary board, but as you can see there are 2 screws, once removed you will be able to see what I am talking about. Hope it helps. I had the same issue.

Nice to see a video on this but removing the motherboard like that could easily damage the pins or the connection on the pins on the main board.
