I came across this trick by pure accident by watching a beatmaking video on an other channel. So handy to save a few cycles on the jog wheel :) The Q-Link sliders do also work in Track Mixer and Pad Mixer for panning and volume. And furthermore in the Program Window to adjust almost any value the cursor is on (pitch, ADSR etc.). It's so nice how many shortcuts JJ built into these machines. In case you know more of them, maybe a dedicated video would be nice, like 'all not so obvious shortcuts'. With the Q-Link functionalities in different modes (Trim, Program, Mixers), bar button to zoom in Trim mode, hold Tap Tempo button in Grid view to browse smaller steps, hold Q-Link2 After button + pad 1-16 to jump to track 1-16 on main screen, press overdub on main screen and copy/paste/erase events in the small grid view... and I'm pretty sure there are even more shortcuts which I don't know (which I'd love to learn if they exist ^^)

Is this only on JJOS?

I think in the original OS you can also use it but you have to hold down the 'after' button then move the slider. It's in the Trim or Loop mode.

Won’t work on mine, do you need JJ os for this?

I'm using JJOSXL. I don't remember if it works with the original Akai OS.
