As someone who used pills 3yrs/dope 8yrs (snorting, only rule was no needles - saw to many friends o.d) this is crazy to think about. In my area it's rare to get tar that you'd smoke, mainly ecp mix(caps, stamps, scramble or raw. I could of just as easily been smoking it if that's all I had - and use to smoke pot off foil or lumies (foil rolled into a bowl) when was like 13 14. I always heard aluminum causes Alzheimer's and once I found that out never used foil or smoked outta coke can again.. It's amazing to see your progress man, and glad to see your clean. I've been clean a year now myself. WARNING to others: just stay away from opiates. pills, patches, dope, liquid none of it will end well in the end for 100 different reasons.

Thank you for sharing so much of your story. I don't recall how I became interested in locked in syndrome. I think I must have read something about Jean-Dominique Bauby, the author of "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly". But his story really hit me hard. I can't imagine being locked in and then coming out the other side of it. I'm so glad you did come out of it and look forward to continuing to follow your story.

Diane IsMyName yes that is the most famous story of locked in syndrome did you know they also made a movie www.imdb.com/title/tt0401383/ It’s a tragic thing to go through and quite amazing/surreal coming out of the other side a stronger and better person. Thank you for the support
