He was more shocked to hear that than hearing illumi tell him otherwise because deep down that's what he was raised to think. And so hearing it upsets him because its like hearing the unwanted truth even if it isn't. In his eyes it is the truth. Aaaaaaaa. I love killuaaaaa

@@nagorepalaciosdelafuente Its hard to argue with that. Iam not 100% sure if you read the Manga, so spoilers. I realy hope we get a bit more of Chrollos Character in the Sucession Arc. Ia not 100% sure if the whole Troupe and or Kurapika realy die in that Arc or if some of them make it to the Dark Continent. But right now its a bit so silent around Chrollo in my opinion and i just fear Togashi wont give us much beside a tragic final. Which would be fine and would keep most of the mystic about his Character, but still i would like to know more, maybe even see a change.

@@JeyC_ i love Illumi's character design and i think he's hilarious. if he's unrelated to Killua i would like him even more. when he's not messing with Killua i totally think he's goofy and skilled as heck, he's nifty, snaky, like a serpent, and he's definitely top notch in terms of intelligence. but i would NOT want him for a brother. he's not underrated at all. everywhere in the world he has hardcore fangirls. the girls are all in love with Illumi, Hisoka and Chrollo. not really a rare phenomena at all.

2:17 This is another way Hanzo cared about Gon during the fight. Purposely breaking Gons arm in the least damaging, slow healing way, which he is able to with his ridiculous skills. Also, a fracture makes the same spot much harder to break in the future, when healed, in real life too.

They have the same eyes' shape. Well, Killua didn't want it in a first place, so I kinda didn't care about him failing. Seeing him like this was pretty sad, but again they were allowed to do anything but kill their opponents, so I can't exactly say that I held any grudge against Illumi, fair enough as a way to win. It's not like Illumi is being an ass or something, he was just raised this way too and he's older, so I guess he just sees it as a proper care about his little brother

He was not sad because of the Hunter exam, an everything about the emotional stuff is not related with the exam, is with Gon. The words "you will end up wanting to kill Gon" were the words that make Killua sad, he finally have a goal in his life and his brother destroyed him.

Am i the only one here who thinks illumi was just testing Killua Like, as i heard it in interpretation, "We only taught you how to kill people, so it is you baser instinct to try to find ways to kill people. That is what excites you now. You are closer to Gon due to the fact that he is strong and you are instinctively trying to test him. One day due to that you might end upkilling him." And the most clear part was "I am going to kill Gon to show that you don't need friends. As we have taught you to even subconsciously choose the targets that you can defeat, you cant fight that instinct to protect your friend. But fighting to protect your friend is what true friendship is. So show me that you can defeat me if i want to kill Gon. Proceed to fight me." I might be wrong here, and Illumi might not be like this but i grasped this from the episode. Edit: Note: I was watching Itachi before, so maybe my judgement was clouded.

nah you missed all the points. he threatened to kill Gon so Killua would surrender to save Gon. Killua doesn't care that he fails or that his brother treated him like shit. he was just worried that if he says or does the wrong thing, his brother would actually kill Gon. Illumi wants to kill Gon for real. but Hisoka stopped him. anyway Illumi is a trash brother. he's a cool character but if he's my brother i would train to outclass him, and electrocute his ass, without blinking. eventually Killua would outgrown him and then the relationship between them would be even more demented. Illumi definitely is obsessed with Killua and wants to control him, but Killua doesn't want to be loved like that.
