I feel like you should have highlighted the specific relationship between Gru and the Minions. Gru knows all his Minions by name, acknowledges their help, gives them stuff like a break room, and apparently pays them (but no raises). The relationship was the first sign that Gru was redeemable. Heck, he's known them since he was a kid, and as Rise of Gru shows, they were basically his friend group, especially since he was an outcast at school. The Minions, like you mentioned, helped pay for the construction of the rocket after the bank cut him off. And unlike the Minions' previous masters, the Minions stayed with Gru for a long time and were with Gru as he grew up, become a villain, pulled off his biggest plan, found a family, and got married. They even saved his life in the climax of the first movie, essentially breaking the trend of accidently killing their masters. And as shown with the Goodnight Kisses and the Wedding Photos scenes, the Minions are a part of Gru's found family. Even when the Minions left in 3 because Gru refused to go back to villainy, they ultimately came back on their own because Mel, the leader who convinced the other Minions to leave, remembered just how much Gru cared about them.

In this episode Nicole doesn’t seem to be the same as in the rest of the series and then why she want to make Gumball live experiences identical to those she lived forced by his parents if as we saw in “The Parents” she hated them? This is the theory: if Nicole in “The Fridge” is actually Rob in disguise, who somehow managed to go back in time for to ruin the lives of Gumball and his family?
