One place to get some cool theremin is off the old Outer Limits TV show intro! Granted not metal ( although somebody should "metallized" it just to see what then result would be!!) but cool stuff anyway. I almost want to say the same kind of Theremin sound was in another old show "One Step Beyond"

Simply INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm hearing SERIOUS Dream Theater vibes here especially in the later half of the song. Haunting vocals and harmonies are just the icing on a very chunky, heavy, and gritty cake!

Wow this is impressive! Had never heard of them before this video. Heavy groovy dark main riff. Verse riff is great too. Gives room for the vocals to shine. The vocals are smooth and good range. Atmosphere on this song is chilling. Keyboards are a nice touch. Love the hypnotizing vocal harmonies at 3:02 and how they briefly drag the tempo through the mud afterwards with her voice sounding like it's fading through a tunnel. Artificial harmonics on the guitar and dive afterwards kick ass too. Definitely going to be checking out more of this band. For me I'd place them up there with Delain, Epica, and Spiritbox and they are some of my favorite bands.

Have been consuming this song for the past hour, feasting on that beefy guitar tone, mentally reverse-engineering into words what makes that riff so catchy to me. Initially, Wolf's tone on those detuned, open note, single-string octave and bends grabs my attention. Then the chugging power chords lock me in. Next, fully entranced by that initial hook, the phrasing is slightly altered next go around, tricking my predicted expectation of said lovely riff into accepting an even sicker variation. This pattern of unpredictability holds true throughout the song. Rarely is a riff played twice exactly the same, there's usually a slight addition or subtraction, a palm mute here, a harmonic there, constantly challenging my guitar-playing mind to keep up and register all of that creative energy. That's next level riff writing right there. So effing good!

I am listening to progressive metal for decades and what Illumishade produced with "Another side of you" is truly exceptional. I really cannot remember I have heard such a good record in recent years. Everything is absolutely perfect (according to my taste). This Album fulfilled my year long desires for a fresh, new sound. Absolutely outstanding is of course Fabienne's voice. And Jonas is throwing one Killer riff after another. 🤘👌❤
