Turn Photos Into Logos with Illustrator

In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how you can use a photo to trace a simple line art-style logo using Adobe Illustrator CC. To do this, we'll primarily be using the Pen Tool.
This would be a great lesson for a beginner due to its simplicity. Using this technique you can create some professional-looking logo designs with relative ease.

It's not necessary. I did it in this video to convert it to a path rather than a stroke. This provides for more compatibility when using it in other platforms, and it's also easier to stylize.
