There are a ‘big 3’ of programs , which are Cinema 4D, Maya and 3DS Max. But usually large companies get tons of add ons such as render engines and particle simulators. I believe the most popular add ons are Octane Render and X Particles, i cant think of any off the top of my head rn. If you’re interested in these programs all of them have student versions, with cinema 4d you pay 2 pounds every half year for the entire Maxon suite, and with 3DS max and maya you can get for free as long as you provide proof that you are a student

They don't see you. You can see them as a mere reflection of the mirror dimension and they can be refracted and twisted like broken shards of the mirror but the actual object in the real world remains unaffected.
