In this video we discuss the route to obtain Indefinite Leave to Remain via long residence, 10 years route to Settlement. There are many requirements to meet to successfully obtain ILR. You have to meet English language requirement and life in the UK test requirement unless you are exempt, we have discussed the exemptions i this video.
To make a successful UK ILR based on long residence application you need to produce required documents which we have been discussed in this video. ILR based on 10 years route can be applied online.

Hello I hope you answer my questions. What are “the Short-term study visas”? Is a foundation year one of them? What are the visas that will not be counted in the 10 year route?

Great video! I have accrued over 10 years, however on my last FLR application I applied 15 days late although the letter states 14. The visa was granted on the 10 year route instead of the 5 year applied. Could I apply for ILR? Or should I switch to the 5 year route again? Also I attached my B1 English certificate on a previous application, do I need to take it again?

Hi I will finish my 10 years January 2023 . In my last extension I apply for fee waiver on the 21 of July and my visa expired on the 24 of August.on the 27 of July I apply for my visa and that was before the decision of the fee waiver.on the 12 of October I receive the decision of the fee waiver am then I receive my BRP carde . I passed B1, and. Life in the uk test .I spend less then 540 day in uk,, I am still eligible to apply for ILR after January

Thank you so much for this much informative video . I came to the Uk with a Spouse visa , unfortunately my marriage break down a year later . Since then , I have been renewing my visa under my British son . I have only been here for 9 Years but presently getting married . Will it be possible to bring my husband to be over to the UK like now please ? I do meet all the financial and English requirements, and I have never overstayed any of my visa . Help please .

If a person spent 3 years on their Master's and Post-Study Work (PSW) visa, and then spent 7 years as a dependent while their wife was on a study visa and PSW, can they apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) on 10 years long residence?

Is departure and arrival date considered as absence? e.g. if I go to Paris from 1st jan - 5th jan, is that 5 days of absence? or just 3?

Hi, I have arrived in uk since June 2012 under spouse visa after that I get divorce and switch my visa to 10 years visa coz I have son with my ex my question is can I apply for indefinite leave to remain once I complete 10 years from the day I arrived which 2012 or I have to count 10 year since I get divorce and switch my visa to 10 years since 2013.
