Concealer declutter yes! I’m glad you kept the EL Double Wear. I find it’s great for mixing if you want more longevity. When o was going in the office I would mix DW with a glow primer or something to thin it and get the lighter coverage I wanted but with better staying power.

Ohhh I love ELDW with a damp sponge so it applies sheer but evens out my skin. Then I just go over any areas needing extra with concealer. I also love it mixed w CT Flawless Filter w a damp sponge for a healthy, glowy look w staying power on my oily skin.

Yes! Concealer declutter!! I also have the Pat McGrath foundation and I haven’t been able to make it work yet. I have very dry skin and this makes it look worse. I need to try the Ilia foundation. I am loving the more dewy, lighter coverage foundations these days. I think the Estée Lauder foundation looks really nice on you!

@@iluvfaces1042 Actually, I have been really bad about that. I have rosacea and very sensitive skin. A dermatologist had told me to be very gentle with it. However, I have been using Curology for about a year now and my rosacea has improved dramatically!! I know Paula’s Choice is an excellent line, so I will check it out. Thank you!!

You have given me some ideas on new products to try. Concealers and foundation I have nearly given up on any working on my skin. Even at 68 I have super oily skin by 2 hours in makeup. Hot days 1 minute. With wrinkles and big pores. I would love to find a powder foundation that doesn't look too cakey or wrinkle emphasizing. I think I would call that one type of container a nozzle end? Be interested in what concealers you think work. So yes to the declutter video.

I feel your pain. I use to have very oily skin and only used foundations made specifically for oily skin. Now, post menopause, I am more normal to dry (shocking). Some suggestions to try--reexamine you skincare routine, if you are overworking your skin trying to dry it out, it may be over producing oil to compensate. I know that sound counter intuitive, but it does work but it takes a little patience. For powder foundations, I think less is more as well, too much product is going to look cakey. Experiment with different brushes to see which gives you the best finish. Another tip is to use a setting powder first (like a primer) then use the foundation powder, I find that can smooth the appearance of pores. Good luck!

Hi Melissa, I enjoyed this video. Personally, I find that I divide BB creams and foundation into two separate categories. I want different things from each (in terms of coverage). Regarding the Double Wear, I combine it with the Oil Of Olay Complete (the same SPF you applied). I just put equal amounts on my finger tips, rub them together to blend and apply. I sometimes use a Beauty Blender to touch it up. I have to work quickly, as it sets pretty fast, but I get a lovely finish and it thins the Double Wear, making it easy to spread. A foundation declutter has been on my mind. I have too many and it’s overwhelming. You did a nice job choosing what you want to keep the double wear looks beautiful on you. I have oily skin so I keep going back to this one to try to make it work but it always looks soooo heavy and ages me. Maybe a sponge application is needed. I would enjoy seeing a concealer declutter.

The color from the Sephora came out darker because you put it on top of one of the previous foundation you tried on. I need to do the same with my foundations but I always want to keep them or not sure!!!🙃🙄😬

The EL Doublewear is a great foundation and it's pretty when applied with a damp sponge as you did. I need to get the Maybelline Dream Wear. I'm currently enjoying the serum foundations from L'Oreal and Estee Lauder. Yes to a concealer declutter. Have a wonderful weekend.

This was great, I have wondered about a few of them. I love your channel and you are the only KZbinr I have found with my coloring. Laura Geller was always my favorite but lately I think the colors have been inconsistent. Excited to try the Fenty or MUFE but do not want one that is too matte or too luminous, which one out of two do you think has a more natural finish? Thanks

They both have a matte finish. I think MUFE gives more coverage while the Fenty is a little lighter. I like both, but would purchase the Fenty again in a heart beat.
