I'm so very thankful right now. I dropped my phone and an hour later the screen went dark. I tried almost all methods. A force restart worked for a few minutes but the screen was flickering, same thing with the Tapping method. Then I reeeally tried hard pressing the screen cause what you said about feeling something loose happened around the camera area so I kept pushing hard, restarted the phone and it worked perfect. The Freeze method worked on my HTC One A9. Thanks man! But be aware folks, it all comes down to the battery. Not all batteries are the same even though they LOOK the same. Some overheat. Some are slow. Some are fast. If after all these methods you still have issues, you need to replace the battery with an OED original battery. Do not buy cheap alternatives or try and use another phone's battery. They are known to even explode!
