I love that you have no shame in loving some of the very mainstream, “basic” fragrances. While I have definitely become harder to impress during my fragrance journey, I can 100% agree that some mainstream top-sellers are sometimes amazing and really do make for an easy reach… they just smell good and mass appealing. Which to me, is nice! Thanks for posting!

Just want to mention that Poison girl EDT and EDP are different scents; I know she mentioned the performance but be aware they smell different, performance isn't the only difference

Cheirosa 40 is an underdog in my opinion and has unexpectedly turned into one of my go-to's when I want to use a hair/body splash. it's so cozy!

Got to say you made me appreciate Thierry Mugler alien. Had a tester and couldn’t for the life of me understand why you like it when I smelt it. But I tried to spray very lightly and now I appreciate the deep scent and it lasts all day. Going for the big bottle 🙌🏼

I love all of the Brazilian Crush body sprays. My order is 40, 62, Anita, 71, and then whatever number the coconut spray is. I believe it’s 39? Anyway, love them for what they are. Poison Girl will always be in my collection. It’s just so good.

I loooooove Poison girl! To my nose it's not as simple or mainstream as people describe it! It's sweet powdery creamy i smell tonka beans almonds rose and orange, Mmmm very delicious 🤤

I received a decant about a month ago of Poison Girl, and I definitely want a full bottle. I agree about notes and reviews influencing you. If I look up the notes as I’m sampling a fragrance, I feel like I spend too much time trying to pick out the notes and less time just experiencing and enjoying the fragrance.

I'm not looking at reviews either anymore. A long time ago I bought thank you next and then read reviews on it and people were saying it smelled like pickle juice! After that , that's all I could smell from it :(

Exactly. I don't read them either. One time I had discovered a delicious scent and people on Fragrantica wrote it smells like beer. I can't believe sometimes what kind of people dare to write reviews like that

Couldn't get past the opening of Chocolate Greedy. Smelled just like CoCo Puffs and in the worst of ways. An immediate scrubber due to nausea. Love Poison Girl EDP and actually wore it today!!

I get the same coco puff opening in it and choco violet; but the dry down and the experience of actually wearing them is what I enjoy. They’re toughies lol. As in tough to keep tough to let go of haha

I looked up the flavor of juicy fruit gum, says predominately lemon, orange, pineapple, and banana notes. Maybe think of it in that way? I’ll definitely be sampling that one.

I don’t find it SUPER similar because I had side effect as a sample and didn’t fall in love with it. But I can see the resemblance:)

I did a side by side and they are very similar. Bouquet Ideale is not as loud...a tiny bit sweeter and more feminine. Side Effect the tobacco note is more prominent and more unisex.

I got a sample of docle amalfi today and the second I smelled it I was like juicy fruit chewing gum!! It was a part of my childhood growing up in the middle east. My husband, who also grew up there, said chewing gum immediately. I asked him if it was juicy fruit, it was like a light bulb came on and he said it totally does. And that's before I saw your review or heard anyone refer to it. It's crazy the scent associations and how notes are influenced by skin chemistry and interpreted differently by noses 🤷🏾‍♀️

I wanted to love the sol de janeiro 40. I have never had a fragrance give me a headache but every single time I use it, it gives me a headache and makes me feel sick. I bought it because someone said it's a dupe for the discontinued roberto cavalli her.

Cheirosa 40 has notes almost identical to Sophia by Sophia Vergara 😍 Now I'm curious if they smell similar😉😊 I know what you mean about reviews from other people who will say something about a fragrance that doesn't necessarily sit well with you and then you can't unthink it when you are smelling it yourself...frustrating

@@Najma_asabat_10 it's hard to say! But if I had to I'd say velvet vanilla because it's got a bubble gum smell to it. It's not overly bubblegum though, just beautiful!
