I didn't care for the beginning, but as soon as the open world opened up, I was in love with this game! There is so much to do and and I love the bond system. Don't listen to the critic's.

The bond system like everything in this game is overused. Every single person you meet turns into a bond and it takes the shine away from it. It makes it hard to feel attached to people because they all just become a bond. Eventually you have about 30/40 bonds it's silly. Collect cats, collect shrines, collect chests, clear outposts, kill priority targets, do flying challenge and shooting challenge and guess what you do in the other 2 chapters? The exact same formula all over again. 0 innovation.

The game is more repetitive than many ubisoft titles. Keep that in mind. Once you played 10 hours of it, you've played it all. Ghost of Tsushima felt immersive, it had a good amount of variety and most importantly, polish. Rise of Ronin's main strength is the combat, the variety of weapons. But the loot is extremely lacking. You get showered in loot and very little of it feels worth keeping. This is coming from someone who just finished Ronin a couple days ago. The first 10 hours of Ronin are great, but after that, there is almost no innovation. Just the same thing for the next 3 chapters.

This game is so much fun. Very addictive. Fun combat. Really fun stealth. Gets kinda hard sometimes if you play on the hardest difficulty but I think the challenge is pretty fun. The rpg elements are pretty cool too. Over all solid game

Just the same formula all over again rinse and repeat. I have a feeling like DD2 will be much more surprising.

I really enjoyed this game. I end up giving it a 7 or 8 out of 10. If it gave more real choices instead of the illusion of choice it would be higher. That or didn't offer me a choice when history was going to overwrite my choice.
