Absolutely. Having them is a constant learning process, and even a learning curve compared to other breeds. As for food and allergies.. The only kibbles that mostly worked for mine were Acana and Zignature Kangaroo, but Zignature had too much sodium and Acana did not agree with her once they moved the manufacturer to Kentucky. I started feeding her 100% raw at about 8-mos, and that is all I have fed her since. You study your dogs, and that is the right mindset to have.

Thank you!!! I have just started looking into feeding raw. Have you noticed a difference since you went raw?

@@ZuLandBoerboels I most definitely have. I started her at 8-mos, and she just turned 9-years. Thankfully, I don't think she has ever had an ear infection, yeast or even fleas. She has never smelled like a dog, like some foods will do, and coat is always soft. For her size, her stools are very small and truthfully don't really even smell. And, thankfully, she is very toned and active, with a high level of endurance. Her vet also says she has the hardest teeth of any dog that comes there. Forgive my (always) long-winded response, but mindfully it helps some.
