once i rescued a baby bird. I had never taken care of a bird before. So i knew nothing. But i took it to the vet, feed it, gave it full treatment until it was well before looking for a person who would take care of releasing it (cos like in your ranch) it has to get used again to be a wild animal. Also when i gave it away, i pass the medicine i had left and all the food i could gather. It is true, sometimes people like to rescue animals, but they don`t think about the costs of taking care of that animal. You are doing a great job. Thank you

My late Sister raised a baby sparrow. She named him Cornflake. He was just a tiny featherless baby when she got him,but thru her diligence and Love he was finally released into the wild. On the day she released him,her sat on a fence and flew right back to her shoulder. This happened a couple of times until he finally got the message! I know that is the part of rehab I could not do. You have to do a caged hunt with something and it just seems cruel as they have no chance of escaping. And the rats are smart and experience fear. I feed my dogs salmon dog food so there is no way I could manage that.

if you put the willow branches into buckets of water they won't dry out and wilt. they alos can root with just water so you can grow some on ranch very easily.

I love how the fawns just surrender to the situation. I baby sea gull fell off a local business’s roof, but the recuse here said there was nothing I could do for it.
