@@BlakesExoticAnimalRanch I saw this and am now thoughts of unsubscribing. Please show proof that this is NOT what's being done with the toads. I would have been ok if they were being used for food but to pull the DMT for one of the psychedelic retreats down in Texas isn't humane. Like I said know what's being done with these animals before trading and I need an update video on this platform on this matter. I'm sure losing me as a subscriber won't hurt you at all but please stop catching the bufo toads so people can take a trip

@@Rayraywheelz you are kidding right ? You know that uncle ben has a wildlife rescue and cane toads are from Texas so he is going to release all back into their natural enviornment. One of the few good things about social media is how it helps “photogenic” non-profits (luckily animals don’t have confidentiality agreements lol!) keep going, and the legit ones don’t usually use the money to pay themselves more, they use it to DO more! This is the early 21st century at its best, Ben is giving Waco a whole new positive brand (to us older folks, it’s kind of a scary place in our heads, even tho the town wasn’t very involved)!!

Cassowaries look so much like dinosaurs because they are literally dinosaurs! And, funnily enough, crocodilians have been around for ages, so they are some of the most distantly related reptiles to dinosaurs. They just haven't changed as drastically in that time because being a crocodilian is super effective!

Who says the female cassowary "doesn’t like" Ben? 😂 I mean, they’re pretty shy birds, despite the fearsome reputation they have… yet people act like ostriches and emus are teddy bears. 😂 I’d be way more scared of an ostrich kicking me and disemboweling me than any other ratite… they’re the biggest! Cassowaries tho, naturally live in forested areas, so they’re pretty private birds. Unlike rheas, ostriches, or emus, which are very adapted to open spaces, being in flocks or small groups, and even associating and grazing with other birds & herding animals (marsupials for emus, guanacos/deer and capybara for rheas, & everything in Africa for ostriches, etc). So really, it makes sense why cassowaries are so cryptic. They spend most of their time alone and in forests. Two humans walking into a cassowary enclosure is def going to make them eye you up and down, even if they were raised from birth. They’re naturally defensive but also reclusive, which is why they can be dangerous. Since most ratites are single father-species, they have to be extra diligent and protective, too. Remember, in Australia and New Guinea, "everything wants to kill you". I don’t believe that, but the amount of reptilian, avian, invertebrate, and other predators "down under" explains many of their native species’ behaviors. Also Ben wanted a video or a pic, which is fine, but she saw the phone and was immediately wary. Like I said, it’s their observant nature. She saw that camera and was like "excuse me? I charge for photos," hahaha. I don’t think it’s necessarily a dislike or a displeasure with seeing Ben. Y’all brought food, after all… and they must be pretty accustomed to humans feeding them. Lol.

I agree the emus I worked with were devil birds!
