I personally would maybe do a light sanding. Like almost a nice satin finish.

That's a great idea...thanks!

Another nice video! I was wondering how the project was going. Keep at it! I would say polish since the parts are going on the repro stock.

Thanks! Still on the fence as to what I'm going to.

@@usna98 Well I suppose if you are undecided, the thing to do would be just leave it as is, and if you want to polish it later you always can!

The components are looking great! Since it’s going on a repro stock, I think some polishing would be fine. Some of the comments are saying to give it a light sanding, and that’s probably what I would do. That way, it will still retain a bit of the character and people can still tell that it was used haha. Great video!

Thanks! I think I am going to sand it just a bit and see how it looks.

After reading the comments , I agree with MrGiggles . Give it a satin finished look , it was only new once , being a satin finish would give it the look of still looking beautiful , yet has been used

Thanks...it's a good idea and I might try it out to see how it looks.

The polish looks nice, but it's very noticibale, we know that someone polished it. If you leave it as is, it's not as obvious that you restored it. Both looks good and tell different stories !
