I'm a big fan of the original titles. Image comics inspired me to embrace comic fandom. Don't get me wrong, I like Marvel and DC, but those franchises are a dime a dozen. Image was different and introduced me to a new world of superheroes. I think I was one of a few kids who was familiar with Image books. Savage Dragon was my favorite because the character lived by a strict code of morals and was not a kill-crazed anti-hero like the other Image heroes. Plus, Dragon had the largest gallery of rogues and Simpsons-inspired humor. It's weird how things have changed since then. Don't get me wrong again, I like titles like Invincible and Firebreather, but you can't beat the originals. God bless Image comics!

Image is great they focus on fresh ideas and good storytelling rather than the baggage of continuity you find in both marvel and dc. They also provide a lot of variety to their comics lineup, not focusing on just superheroes. I really do believe they are the future of western comics.

Damn it seems like Spawn and Savage Dragon are like the only surviving franchises from the 90s. Really makes you think about how time has changed huh?. . .Also I think there's like 1 series left that got bought years ago but is currently in limbo, Ant, I believe.

Depends on what is success? Windstorm got to do work on Marvel "Heroes Reborn" line back in the mid90s and then sold it to DC for a profit. That's successful.

Good but your missing some details. Like Whilce Portacio having his own imprint in Image called Avalon Studios (showcasing more Filipino artist) which created comics like Aria (Brian Holguin and Jay Anacleto), Stone (Portacio), Hellcop (Brian Haberlin and Gerry Alanguilan).
